Brandrepublic.com reports that it follows a three-way battle, also involving Nokia and Siemens, to become the new shirt sponsor of the club, which is also chasing Champions League glory having already won the Carling Cup this season.
The deal will eclipse even Manchester United’s £9million-a-year deal with Vodafone, as well as Chelsea’s current £4million-a-year deal with Emirates airline, which expires at the end of this season.
