Major League Baseball’s San Diego Padres are set to hire league executive Sandy Alderson as their new CEO.
According to reports in the US, Alderson, an executive vice president for baseball operations within the league, will be officially unveiled in the new job later today.
The Padres’ existing CEO and president, Dick Freeman, is expected to remain as president.
