The Cypriot government believes the clubs could do more to help themselves financially.
The Cyprus Football Association (FA) hopes a meeting scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) will put pressure on the government to help the clubs.

Weekend fixtures in the Cyprus football league were cancelled after the clubs decided to strike in an effort to force the government to provide financial subsidies.
