The deal provides The Arctic Challenge, an event where only the best riders in the world are invited to compete, with television coverage in the US and international territories.
“We want to present snowboarding on a serious level. FUEL is dedicated to action sports and they know what we’re looking for.
“We want to focus on the performance of the sport. Very few have managed to do that with snowboarding on TV,” said Terje Haakonsen, legendary rider and creator of the premier snowboarding event.
FUEL TV will produce a one-hour event special based on this year’s competition taking place from March 29 through to April 6 in Northern Norway (above the Arctic circle).
