The deal runs from 2007 to 2014. In addition, Global Brands Group will act as the on-site concessionaire for all FIFA events throughout this eight-year term.
Global Brands will analyse core markets for establishing and implementing the official FIFA store concept, which encompasses the official FIFA World Cup retail stores, retail corners and store-in-stores with a view to boosting awareness of the FIFA brand and supporting FIFA’s mission to broaden soccer’s fan base.
Global Brands, which has offices in Europe and Asia, will also take on the role of FIFA’s store operator for dedicated 2006 FIFA World Cup stores/corners in all markets except Europe and Japan.
