Sven Goran Eriksson, Tim Henman, Ralf Schumacher and Nick Faldo were among those to lend support to the partners behind the firm – Oliver Hunt, Simon Thorp and Jamie Singer.
The team have experience at leading City law firms, including Clifford Chance, allied with the in-house experience gained at industry giant, IMG.
Nick Faldo, the six-times Major winner, said: “Oli has been entrusted with aspects of my legal affairs for more than five years and, due to his in-depth knowledge of the golf industry, he is able to deliver the desired level of professional advice for my on- and off-course business activities.”

Tim Henman, Britain’s number one tennis player and four-times Wimbledon semi-finalist, said: “I've worked with Jamie and Oli for a number of years and have complete faith in their abilities. Not only are they professional and knowledgeable but they are a pleasure to work with.”
Ralf Schumacher, Formula One racing driver, said: “Jamie was a key advisor to me whilst I was at Williams and especially during the complex negotiations for my drivers’ contract with Toyota.”
Having been associated with IMG for 10 years, Hunt joined IMG’s legal team permanently in 2001, and was responsible for the legal affairs of IMG’s flagship golf division, and its publishing and licensing businesses throughout Europe.
Singer joined IMG in 2001. He was principal advisor to IMG's tennis, sponsorship consultancy, fashion and models divisions throughout Europe until early 2005. He has also advised a number of IMG's key private clients including Sven Goran Erikkson, Ralf Schumacher, Tim Henman, Bjorn Borg and Heidi Klum.
Thorp worked for more than seven years as a corporate commercial lawyer at two of the UK’s leading law firms (Slaughter and May followed by Clifford Chance) before joining onside law. His expertise lies in specialist contract advice, joint ventures, separation of businesses, share purchases, outsourcing, supply, franchising, distribution and agency agreements.

However lawyers must contribute to helping build a long-term partnership between rights holder and sponsor and practical knowledge of the business is essential.”
