Frank will be based in ESPN’s London office and will report to Russell Wolff, executive vice president and managing director, ESPN International.
She will be responsible for overseeing all of ESPN’s businesses in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Specifically, Frank will oversee ESPN’s ongoing expansion in Europe, including managing ESPN’s investment in ESPN Classic Europe.
She will also manage ESPN’s affiliate businesses in the Middle East and Africa and will direct the overall syndication sales effort in the region. In addition, Frank will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for ESPN in the region and will manage ESPN’s European headquarters in London.
Frank joins ESPN International with experience in network television management, as well as in strategic business development and in localising global brands.
She spent the last 12 years with Turner Broadcasting System in Europe, serving most recently as managing director, European Entertainment Networks.
Her portfolio of responsibilities has included strategic development, programming, marketing, public relations, on-air promotion, research, licensing, and merchandising of 14 Turner television services.
Murray Barnett, formerly director of sales, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, has been promoted to senior director of sales for the EMEA region.
