PLAZAMEDIA'S HDTV OFFENSIVE

Television and new media provider PLAZMEDIA is offering a number of production services in HDTV (High Definition Television) at what it claims are unusually low prices.

Under the banner ‘Sharp images, hot prices,’ the low prices will be on offer from March 15 to April 15.

The company is publicising its promotion with a mailing that targets TV and film production experts. The marketing offensive aims to increase awareness about the products and services offered in the field of HDTV and to attract new customers.

Specialists from Ismaning will be offering special HD packages, including one aimed at documentary filmmakers. The ‘HD Documentary Special Package’ includes 15 days of filming with the EB camera, 12 days of post-production and one day of post-production audio.

High-definition television is still a growth market for a technology that is set to become established in Europe at the latest by soccer’s 2006 World Cup.

PLAZAMEDIA carried the first HDTV broadcast of a German Bundesliga match in March 2004 and the technology is already television reality in the US and in Japan.
