Vulpis has specialised in sport business subjects working on the fortnightly column ‘Marketing Sport’ for the economical daily newspaper ItaliaOggi, and has recently been involved in production of the website Sporteconomy.it.
In 2003 he worked as director of communications for the skiing World Championship held in Bormio. He is also a lecturer in sport management at the UniversitC Statale of Milan.
Media Partners is focused on four business areas (rights management, contents production, events and technical services organisation), and Vulpis will be involved mainly in the management of the press office supporting the alpine and nordic skiing World Cup, the International Horse Riding Competition of Piazza di Siena and the European Volleyball Championship.
The group is also involved in TV rights for soccer and recently signed a contract with Telecom Italia/La 7 for terrestrial digital, broadband and ADSL relating to 30 soccer clubs in Italy’s top two leagues.
