TALKSPORT IN WORLD CUP AGREEMENT

UK radio station, talkSPORT, has reached agreement with Infront Sports & Media for non-exclusive rights to the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

It gives talkSPORT access to all 64 matches, live and delayed, for the UK, including Northern Ireland.

The 2002 World Cup was the first time that radio rights were offered independently and separately from television.

TalkSPORT is the UK's largest commercial radio station, with 6.3 million listeners every week according to the latest national broadcast media survey of radio and television audiences b GfK Media.

The station is one 17 owned by the Wireless Group.
