In addition to the cocktail sponsorship, DAGOC, will conduct a Special Press Event during SPORTELAsia 2005, titled: “Organising and Host Broadcasting the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006.
Patrick Furlong, director of broadcasting and media services at DAGOC, will provide a briefing on Doha’s preparations for the Games and DAGOC’s official Host Broadcaster, Doha Asian Games Broadcast Services (DAGBS), will provide information on its operational and production plans.
Furlong said: “We are using SPORTELAsia 2005 as a unique platform to promote our broadcasting rights to the Asian broadcasting networks. We will also brief the networks on the many opportunities they would benefit from such as offering over 2,000 hours of live television coverage and High Definition Television (HDTV) coverage of some of the major sports in the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006.“
SPORTELAsia 2005 will take place March 14-16, 2005 at the 5-star InterContinental Hotel in Hong Kong.
