The five cities bidding for the 2012 Olympic Games will have an exhibition stand and will make a 10-minute presentation to the General Assembly of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) on April 17.
Collectively owned and managed by GAISF, ASOIF and the Association of the International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF), SportAccord encompasses the annual associations’ meetings and general assemblies, and includes open conference sessions, workshops, seminars, scheduled networking opportunities and an exhibition, all scheduled around the associations’ meetings.
The event also brings together sponsors, architects, sports lawyers, broadcasters, candidate cities, event organisers, technology experts and other specialists to discuss the key issues facing the sports industry.
