The Sockatye product is being worn as part of the homes nations’ mission to eliminate racism from the game.
It is intended that a number of Sockatyes will be autographed by the players and will be available after the game for purchase via the online auction that will take place at www.sockatyes.com.
The auction will begin at 1000 hrs on Wednesday, February 9 and end at 1800 hrs on Friday, February 11. All proceeds will be donated to the Tsunami Relief Funds of each of the home nations.
SockatyesB is a new product for football and has been developed to act as a tie-up for the players’ socks.
It includes a silk ribbon pendant that sits on the side of the players’ calves which is capable of displaying photo quality digital imagery such as a club badge, player’s name, squad number and fixture date.
