The former CEO of Rockingham Motor Racing Circuit in the UK has launched the company to identify opportunities for motor sports organisations to work with brands in a variety of ways.
Pover developed the concept of music and motor racing at Rockingham and established the Days of Thunder brand; the family-oriented elements included music events and attractions for youngsters, bringing in brands such as Lego, Learn Direct and Coca-Cola.
Cruise Control Consulting has been appointed to provide strategic consultancy for the Team Darkness Days of Thunder team, which will compete in the re-named Stock Car Speed Association (SCSA) series at Rockingham, Corby.
Cruise Control will explore further sponsorship and strategic partnership opportunities, in addition to advising on marketing strategy.
