The four-year partnership is valued at six figures and will involve Puma and their sub-licensee Genesis producing and supplying the new Great Britain kit and uniforms for RFL match officials.
The RFL will also develop with Puma an on-line shopping service for supporters that will be launched in Spring. The sport also hopes to benefit from improved access to high street retail outlets.
The RFL’s commercial director Paul Kimberley said: “The agreement represents a significant increase on previous partnerships and the sport will also benefit from Puma’s excellent market position and the expertise of Genesis in the area of retailing and on-line shopping.”
