Q8OILS LUBRICATES DUCATI

Q8Oils will partner Ducati’s GSE Racing team for the British Superbike Series 2005.

In return for supplying their lubricant, Q8Oils will use the team for marketing, trade and retail support. The link up with the Ducati brand will also provide the lubricant manufacturer with access to the commercial environment surrounding the British Superbike Series.

Steve Boocock, Q8Oils head of marketing and new product development, said: “Without doubt, brands associated with the series have the ability to reach a specific target audience and benefit from the proven loyalty of that audience”.

GSE Racing team manager, Colin Wright, said: “British Superbikes has proven its commercial value time and again over the years for many brands associated with them. The races combine glamour, excitement and a die-hard audience with hours of guaranteed terrestrial and satellite coverage and countless marketing opportunities”.

Rupert Pratt, director at Generate Sponsorship, the agency that brokered the deal, said: “A partnership with the GSE team offers Q8Oils terrestrial television exposure, corporate hospitality at 13 stages nationwide, access to over 30,000 loyal spectators per round and association with Ducati, one of the leading brands in the world”.

The team is continuing its search for a title sponsor.
