Governing body IFSA Strongman, sports marketer and athlete manager for strongman events, will bring competitors together each year at Columbus, OH, to take on each other and challengers from other strength sports such as weightlifting and powerlifting.
It is claimed the event will reach hundreds of millions of viewers via IFSA Strongman’s TV platform.
IFSA Strongman will run the 2005 competition calendar, worth more than $1million in prize money. The year culminates in the World Strongman final in Quebec on September 24 to 25.
