B.A.R. HONDA UNVEILS NEW PARTNERS

The B.A.R Honda Formula 1 team has announced a raft of partnership as it prepares for a season in which it will be aiming to improve on its second place in the constructors’ championship.

The team has concluded Team Technical Partnership deals with Avaya Inc, the business communications software producer and Showa Corporation, a manufacturer of precision auto components.

Avaya will develop IP telephony and mobile communications for the teams engineering and operational staff while Showa will develop new damper solutions for the new B.A.R. Honda 007 car.

NTN, the Japanese manufacturer of bearings and constant velocity joints becomes a Team Partner while Seiko has signed a three year deal as Team Watch Partner.

Seiko has had a high profile across a range of international sporting events but the deal with B.A.R Honda represents its first foray into Formula 1.
