Ireland is to get its first seven-days-a-week TV sports channel, reports the irishexaminer.com
Setanta Sports has been given a 10-year contract from the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland to expand its weekend service.
The channel will show English and Scottish Premier League soccer, UEFA Cup matches and Celtic League Rugby.
Eircom League soccer, Gaelic games and basketball will also feature.
The channel is available on cable and satellite from January.
