ESPN2 and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) have agreed to a multi-year extension to televise the LPGA Series through to 2009.
As part of the agreement, ESPN2 will televise up to 10 LPGA events annually, reports ESPN.com
This includes the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill, Sybase Classic Presented by Lincoln Mercury, Wendy's Championship for Children and State Farm Classic, each of which will air on ESPN2 in 2005.
The events will continue to be produced by ESPN Regional Television (ERT).
The new five-year agreement marks the network's longest commitment with the LPGA.
