It is part of a move towards the objective of achieving ‘one sport administered by one body’.
The ICC passed a motion at its annual conference to integrate with women’s cricket and the plan awaits ratification by the IWCC annual general meeting in April 2005.
The ICC is looking for an individual to work with the ICC regions and member countries to drive the global development of women’s cricket and encourage and support stakeholder endeavours around the world.
The successful applicant will also oversee the implementation and co-ordination of an ICC Women’s Committee and international women’s cricket events.
