LEEDS PROPERTY SALE TO CURB DEBTS

Tagged in &

Soccer club Leeds United has sold its training complex to a property investment company to reduce its debts.

The former Premier League outfit has managed to reduce debts of more than £100million to £25million.

The property sale is expected to save a further £4million.

The terms of the deal will see the club lease the grounds for 25 years and there is a clause to buy back the property should its financial position improve.
