The new six-year deal for the event, staged annually at the Westchester Country Club in New York, will begin with the 2005 event in June. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Financial firm Barclays has signed a title sponsorship deal with the PGA Tour for the event formerly known as the Buick Classic.
