The rights are secured as part of a new five-year deal with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Premier Rugby, announced today.
The new agreement covers the five seasons from the start of the 2005/06 campaign up to and including the 2009/10 season, and follows on from the existing TV deal.
Under the deal Sky Sports will broadcast England internationals, exclusively live coverage of all of England's Autumn Internationals, all England home matches in the warm-up to their defence of the Rugby World Cup in 2007 plus an annual England vs. Barbarians match.
It also includes exclusively live coverage of the regular Zurich Premiership season, the Zurich Premiership semi-final and final, plus the wildcard semis and final.
Other RFU properties covered by the deal are exclusively live coverage of England 'A' and U21 internationals, the annual Varsity match, the County Championship Final, the Army vs. Navy match and the final of the Women's Cup competition.
Vic Wakeling, managing director of Sky Sports, said: "We have made a huge commitment to rugby union, and English Rugby, over the last decade and I'm glad that will continue.
"Ten years ago we showed our first live club rugby - something the British public had seen precious little of before. Now we show the game at international, European and domestic level and cover over 100 live games a year, right through the calendar."
Howard Thomas, chief executive of Premier Rugby, said: " Sky Sports deliver regular live coverage of the Zurich Premiership and play offs enabling our supporters to watch over 32 premiership matches during the season as well as a comprehensive round-up of the weekly highlights."
In addition to the RFU and Premier Rugby deal, Sky Sports holds contracts with the ERC and SANZAR which allow live coverage of the Heineken Cup and European Challenge Cup, as well as the premium tournaments of the southern hemisphere - Tri Nations, Super 12, Currie Cup and NPC - plus inbound tours, including Home Nations and the next Lions tour.
