Over the next several months, Kikuchi will work closely with Mike Rielly, who has served as IMG’s senior vice president and managing director of IMG Japan since January 2003.
During his tenure, Rielly orchestrated a major restructuring and relocation of IMG’s Japan operations. In December, Rielly, who joined IMG in the 1980s, will assume senior positions in IMG’s consulting and business development units,
and will be based in San Francisco.
Kikuchi most recently worked with MSN Japan (Microsoft) as director of marketing for one of its major business units, and previously was GM of Marketing Communications for GE Edison Life (Japan).
Kikuchi has worked closely with Japan’s top companies in marketing, sports marketing and advertising. He spent much of his career with Hakuhodo, Japan's number two advertising agency, where he was responsible for major sponsorships and events involving soccer, tennis, golf, skiing, motorsports and many others.
