Uefa has cleared Chelsea's Russian owner Roman Abramovich of having a conflict of interest with Champions League opponents CSKA Moscow.
European football's governing body was concerned that the billionaire had a controlling interest in both clubs.
But a Uefa spokesman told The Guardian: "We have found no reason to believe that Mr Abramovich would be a shareholder."
Chelsea had maintained that the only link was that Abramovich's oil company, Sibneft, was CSKA's shirt sponsors.
