Barclays appoint Arena for Premiership

Arena International, the sports and lifestyle sponsorship Agency, has been appointed by Barclays to activate the Barclays Premiership sponsorship programme for the next three years.

After three successful years working on the Barclaycard Premiership, Arena will continue to cover strategic consultancy, sponsorship activation and media relations.

With an investment of more than £85m into football at all levels over the next three years, Barclays are one of the worlds largest investors in football.

“Arena have been responsible for much of the success of Barclaycard’s sponsorship of the FA Premier League, and we are confident this will continue with Barclays. Their industry expertise, impressive contacts and rights activation have been first class so I’m delighted to have an agency that I view as one of the best in the business working with us,” said Nic Gault, group sponsorship director at Barclays.
