Now in its seventh year, ‘TEAMS: Travel, Events And Management in Sports’ is the world’s largest gathering for the sports event and sports-related travel industry.
“We’ve been fortunate to experience double-digit percentage growth in the number of exhibitors and attendees at TEAMS each year over the past several years,” said Timothy Schneider, publisher of SportsTravel magazine, which organizes the TEAMS Conference.
Tradeshow Week’s selection of TEAMS as one of the 'Fastest 50' is based on the growth of total net square footage and number of exhibiting companies between the years of 2001-2003. TEAMS 2004, sponsored by Best Western International, will be held in Houston, October 20 to 23, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
Approximately 1,000 sports event industry professionals are expected to attend TEAMS 2004. More than 200 convention bureaus, sports commissions and hotels will be exhibiting at the TEAMS Expo, which features pre-scheduled one-on-one appointment sessions with sports event organisers.
