The seminars combine insightful presentations from industry experts with lively debate and delegate interaction, dedicated to ensuring everyone involved in sponsorship is better equipped to deal with the issues that face them.
The seminars aim to broaden the horizons of sponsorship executives from corporate companies, rights holders, governing bodies and consultancies.
ESA (The European Sponsorship Association) is organising a fortnightly programme of Wednesday evening seminars, commencing September 8, with guest speakers from the world of sport, entertainment and the media providing valuable insight into the latest trends in sponsorship.
On September 8 the subject is ‘Education Community Sponsorship’ looking at the development and operation of grassroots, and schools programmes for the implementation of sports and the arts projects.
On September 22 delegates can find out about ‘New Technology Issues’ surrounding technology/new media and the new opportunities they present to sponsors and rights holders.
‘Promoting Sponsorship through the Media’ on October 6 looks at the ever-changing newspaper market and its impact, investigating the power of the newspaper brand and its relationship with readers.
‘The Youth Market’ on October 20 looks at participation and preferences of five to 24-year-olds as well as changing the definitions and perceptions of sport amongst young people. It also investigates the role brands can play and the appeal of youth projects to sponsors.
Seminars will be informal and designed to develop delegate interaction, discussion and exchange of views. The venue is EdComs, The Tower Building, 11 York Road, LONDON SE1 7NX.
Cost, inclusive of refreshments, is: members - £40 + VAT per person per session or £120 + VAT per person for 4 sessions. Non-members - £50 + VAT per person per session or £160 + VAT per person for 4 sessions.
