Former Formula One driver Jonathan Palmer is behind a new saloon car championship which he claims is “the most rounded British motorsport series ever”.
Palmer owns several circuits in Britain and launched the T1 series yesterday.
The championship will begin in April, featuring large saloon cars such as the Jaguar X-type and Mercedes C class, fitted with standard turbo chargers to ensure even competition.
