Ghana has won the race to host the 2008 African Nations Cup.
After talk of a close vote, the nation eventually ended up clear winners – polling nine of the 12 votes cast.
The only rival bid was from Libya, which picked the remainder of the votes.
The decision was made during a meeting of CAF’s Executive Committee.
