Caribbean mobile operator Digicel has agreed a multi-million dollar sponsorship with the West Indies Cricket Board in what is described as the biggest deal the WICB has ever signed.
The brand will become the official sponsor of the West Indies Test and one-day international teams, event sponsors for the home Test and ODI Series, and the official mobile and communications provider of the WICB.
The contract is for five years with an option to renew taking its support well beyond the ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in the Caribbean in 2007.
