Bill Strickland is joining Collegiate Images after spending 11 years at the University of Massachusetts. There he served as associate athletic director of media relations, associate director of external affairs and, most recently, associate athletic director of administration and operations.
Collegiate Images is the centralised licensing and rights-clearance agency that manages the distribution of archived film and video images for colleges, universities, conferences, bowl games and broadcast rightsholders.
Its licensees include broadcast networks, production companies, ad agencies and other entities that need stock footage and stills from major universities, conferences, bowl games and networks.
Said Strickland: “This position will allow me to utilise my contacts in college athletics and television as we continue to build on CI’s standing as the pre-eminent collegiate copyright management company in the industry.”
