A new traffic record has been set on the official website of UEFA’s Euro 2004, following the Group B games between Croatia and England and Switzerland and France on Monday.
A record 12.6 million page views were registered by fans logging on during the final Group B matches, while there were more than 2 million visits to the site in total on June 21.
Site chiefs say the record statistics are thanks to the new Live MatchCentre application which allows fans to access match commentary, statistics and a chat forum.
Euro2004.com has received over 25m visits and generated more than 300m page views since the site was launched on March 31.
