ZCU MD resigns

Tagged in &

The managing director of the Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU) has quit.

Vince Hogg, who has been with the ZCU since 2002, will leave his post in August.

He found himself at the centre of a dispute by rebel players, who accuse the ZCU of racist selection decisions. He was critical of the rebel white cricketers’ claims.
Said Hogg in a statement: "The past few months in office have really been strenuous on me.
"I have decided to resign because I was no longer enjoying the work."
