ESPN has signed a four-year extension to its existing deal to keep golf’s US Open.
The new deal with the US Golf Association ensures the US Open, US Women’s Open and US Senior Open, will stay on ESPN through until 2008.
It follows an announcement earlier this week which saw ESPN Star Sports secure a multi-year cable and satellite rights deal in Asia for the event.
