A subsidiary of listed company Primedia, Monde Tabata will become its new MD as of July 1. He has been deputy CEO for the past two years.
George Rautenbach, current CEO and the founder of the company in 1986, will assume the role of executive chairman.
Dave Jenkins was promoted to the position of sales and marketing director, playing a key role in the management of the company’s South African rugby account.
The board also confirmed the departure of Joel Stransky, who has been responsible for managing the SA rugby account since 2001.
Said Tabata: “My appointment comes at a very exciting time in the history of South African sport and I am delighted to be positioned to play a role within such an historic period.”
