The IOC has named the five cities to compete to host the 2012 Olympic Games.
At a special event staged during industry conference and exhibition SportAccord in Lausanne, the IOC confirmed that London, Paris, New York, Madrid and Moscow were the choses cities.
It means the end of campaigning for Rio, Istanbul, Leipzig and Havana - all of whom failed to make the IOC shortlist.
A final decision on the 2012 host will be made in Singapore next July.
Paris is still seen by many as favourite to host the event.
