He will be joined by former UK government Sports Minister Kate Hoey MP, and Roger Draper, the CEO of Sport England, at a debate which forms part of the ‘South Bank Senate’ series.
The discussion, entitled ‘This House believes that the commercialism of sport has been to its detriment’, will be chaired by the controversial best-selling novelist and politician, Lord Archer.
The event takes place on June 23 at County Hall and is organised by the Quintus Group.
