The inaugural Think!Sponsorship one-day event is aimed at ‘providing intelligence and insight to rights holders on mechanisms for increasing commercial revenues through innovative sponsorship solutions’.
Key speakers at the event include Mike Thompson, sponsorship manager of Powergen and John Constaninou, head of sponsorship at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
The event is organised by Communicate Sport.
Said its managing director, Catherine Hawkins: “The concept behind Think!Sponsorship was to create an affordable, relevant event at which rights-holders could find out more about the sponsorship industry, and the mindset of the brand owners within it. Already confirmed at the event are the FA, the Football League, a range of football clubs, including Manchester City, Aston Villa and Southampton, as well as governing bodies the LTA, ITF, and the ECB.
