AFL agrees new CRM system

The Arena Football League has joined forces with Firstwave Technologies to implement a new database to track fans’ buying behaviour.

The Firstwave Sports CRM solution will allow the league to ‘increase fan loyalty’ – and, most crucially, boost revenues.

Said Glenn Horine, executive vice president of AFL properties: "The primary focus of the Arena Football League is to not only be the most fan-friendly sport, but also to be the most partner-friendly property in sports. The AFL and its teams strive to exceed the expectations of our existing fan base as well as recruit new fans."
Added David R. Simmons, Firstwave president and COO: "Firstwave will help the AFL better understand each fan, which could provide teams with the opportunity to increase fan loyalty as well as ticketing and merchandise revenues.”
