Spurs acquires new Aura

English Premier League soccer club Tottenham Hotspur is the latest to sign up the services of specialist digital sports sales agency Aura Sports.

Aura, which recently saw a 20 percent investment from BSkyB, will become the exclusive sales agent for the club’s official website – Spurs.co.uk.

The site currently generates over 5.9m page impressions monthly, and has 443,000 unique users.

Said Matt House, commercial director of Spurs: “It was very important for us as a club to select the correct commercial partner to help us to drive our digital revenues.”

Aura currently has deals in place with a number of the biggest English Premier League clubs, among them Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton, as well as 4thegame.com – the official website of the Barclaycard Premiership sponsor.
