Policy, who has been with the team since it became a new NFL franchise in 1999, will remain in a consultancy role for the rest of the season.
He will be replaced by the NFL’s current senior vice president of marketing and sales, John Collins.
Collins, who takes up the new position on May 1, has worked for the NFL in a variety of positions and helped secure close to $2bn in sponsorship.
Carmen Policy, president and CEO of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns says he will quit at the end of the month – with one of the NFL’s top marketing chiefs set to replace him.
