The company has acquired title sponsorship of the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit in July, and also becomes the event’s exclusive beer supplier.
Veltins' new involvement in MotoGP is also extended to other areas: they will be the presenting sponsor for TV broadcasts in Germany through RTL and they will back the BMW Boxer Cup, one of the support races in the MotoGP events schedule.
Said Carmelo Ezpeleta, Dorna's CEO: "Everybody knows that Germany is a key territory in which MotoGP is beginning to establish itself and the arrival of strong partners such as Veltins is the proof that we are moving in the right direction.
“We think that there's a lot of space to grow and hopefully we can do so together with Veltins. I also want to mention how important the role of RTL will be in this future development."
