QSi Expo 2004 starts on April 4 and will showcase more than 200 companies from 30 countries across the world.
Said Sharla Hancock, project manager, fairs and exhibitions: “This year’s exhibition is promising to be bigger and better than the exhibition held in 2002. Response from exhibitors in Qatar and around the world has been very good.
“With more than $1bn dollars to spend on sporting infrastructure, companies from around the world can see great value in coming to Qatar to participate in this event.”
Among those taking place will be representatives from the Swatch Group, UK sports marketing agency Fast Track, logistics firm Airlink Schenker, and broadcaster equipment provider Salam International.
A major sport industry exhibition in Qatar is on course to smash previous records as the countdown begins to the event, which gets underway next weekend.
