Williams, who signed a $40m deal with Nike while her business matters were handled by IMG, returns to the tennis circuit this week at the Nasdaq-100 Open having been injured since August.
Said a statement from Williams: “While tennis is my number one priority, there are a number of interests that I have, which I think William Morris is most suited to provide for me.
“They have a great reputation for their representation of athletes, and for the ancillary opportunities that they provide their clients.”
