LeBron James’ position as the most popular NBA player has been confirmed after the league revealed he was the official website’s most popular player page.
The Cleveland Cavaliers rookie saw his player page attract more than 3.1m page views during the 2003-4 season.
James was ahead of Allen Iverson on 2.7m views, Yao Ming and Kobe Bryant.
Internationally, the Houston Rockets’ Yao Ming was the biggest draw with 2.3m views, while the LA Lakers were the top team page with 37.5m views.
The NBA says it has received more than 265m visits to its network of club sites.
