LET tees up title deal

The Ladies European Tour (LET) has secured a four-year title sponsorship with Italian sportswear firm Robe di Kappa.

The deal – which will see the tournament become known as the Robe di Kappa Ladies European Tour - was brokered by the Parallel Media Group, which handles the LET’s commercial rights.
The brand will also become the official leisurewear and waterproof supplier to both the LET and the European Solheim Cup team in 2005.
The Tour’s merchandise will be available throughout more than 3,000 Robe di Kappa outlets around the world.
Said Ian Randell, chief executive of the Robe di Kappa Ladies European Tour: “This has once again highlighted the growth and buoyancy of women’s golf in Europe. The fact that major international companies have continued to show commitment to the Tour is an extremely positive sign as we head forward.”
Meanwhile, the row between the European Tour and Asian Tour on the men’s circuit shows now signs of abating.
