The club has struck a deal worth an estimated $60m over six-years with Nafta Moscow.
It comes hot on the heels of a $54m three-year deal signed by CSKA Moscow with another oil company, Sibneft.
Oil firms have shifted their focus to the major soccer clubs in recent years – with Roman Abramovich’s ‘Russian revolution’ at London club Chelsea the most high profile.
Ironically, Abramovich is a the major shareholder in Sibneft – CSKA’s new backer.
Russian soccer club Saturn Ramenskove has signed a massive multi-million dollar, multi-year deal with an oil trading company.
