KES gets energy boost

UK energy supplier npower – title sponsor of English cricket’s domestic Test Series - has appointed Karen Earl Sponsorship to handle its sponsorship programme.

London-based KES won after a competitive pitch process and will handle all media relations across national sport, regional and lifestyle media.

Said Dominic Curran, PR account director, and head of the KES team for the project: “Cricket currently has real potential and we hope to raise the profile of the game and the npower Test Series across a diverse range of media, both on the back pages but also away from its usual comfort zone.”

Added npower head of brand Kevin Peake: “KES has proven class in their field. We feel confident that they will be able to make a real impact and help take our sponsorship forward in line with our strategy of involving the fans and growing the game.”

npower has been the sponsor of the npower Test Matches cricket for three years and also sponsors the npower Women’s Test Series, the Twenty20 Cup and for the first time this year, the npower Village Cup.
